The Matriarchy

I live, work, and raise a child on Chicago’s North side, on the traditional and unceded territories of the Council of Three Fires, the Ojibwe, Potawatomi, ad Odawa, as well as the Monominee, Miami, and Ho-Chunk Nations. This land is not only stolen, but was built up by the bodies and labor of stolen people. We ground ourselves in our oppressive roots in order to be aware of and disrupt how oppression flows through our bodies and bodies of work.
